The cream of International crime writers descended on Stirling last weekend for the spectacular Bloody Scotland Festival, which over 8 years has established itself as one of the UK’s leading literary events.

To start things in spectacular style, Unique Events once again produced the opening Torchlit Procession event, which leads participants from the stunning surroundings of Stirling Castle to the opening event in Albert Halls. Now in it’s 3rd year, the Torchlit Procession has become a key feature of the festival and helps generate excellent media and social media coverage for the festival.

As is now tradition, the authors attending the festival head the procession, which this year welcomed (L-R) Claire Askew, Denise Mina, David Baldacci, Doug Johnstone, Manda Scott, Craig Robertson, Ambrose Parry, Christopher Brookmyre and Marisa Haetzman.

A record 10,000 attended the Bloody Scotland Festival 2019 and we look forward to returning in 2020.
