Illuminight with Lidl, the light and sound spectacular in Kilmarnock’s Dean Castle Country Park, will return this year from Wednesday 23 October to Sunday 17 November with an all new show and exciting new theme to be announced later in the summer.  Tickets for the 2019 event go on-sale 10am, Friday 31 May from www.illuminight.co.uk

Presented by East Ayrshire Leisure and Unique Events, in collaboration with production specialists Black Light, Illuminight with Lidl takes visitors on an enchanted woodland trail, discovering stunning light and sound installations using state of the art technology, water projection, light, fire and music, designed by Scotland’s leading lighting designers and creatives. The theme for the all new show for 2019 will be announced in the late summer and promises to transform the landscape into something out-of-this world.

A limited number of local discounted tickets for residents with a KA postcode are available at a 10% reduction on the full price and children tickets, and special offer Preview Night tickets for Wednesday 23 October will allow audiences to be the very first to see the spectacular new show.

Last year’s event welcomed over 42,000 visitors to Dean Castle Country Park, with 52% of visitors travelling from outwith East Ayrshire, to experience a fantastic family night out, enjoying a world-class illumination event and over 7,000 cups of hot chocolate and 50,000 toasted marshmallows over the 23-night run.

Supermarket chain Lidl return as headline sponsors to support the event this year, with audiences enjoying delicious Lidl products from Warming Zones throughout the event

With a run of sell-out sessions and over 80,000 visitors since the inaugural event in 2017, audiences are encouraged to book early for 2019 to take advantage of ticket offers and make sure they don’t miss out dates for this year, which are once again expected to sell-out.
