Unique Events were specially selected by UEFA to produced the pre-match entertainment, trophy presentation and spectacular pyrotechnics display at the UEFA Champions League Final, Hampden Park, broadcast to a worldwide TV audience of 350 million, the biggest audience ever to watch pictures broadcast from any event in Scotland.

52,000 spectators packed into Hampden Park to watch football giants Real Madrid and Bayern Leverkusen compete for European

football’s biggest trophy, and were treated to a ‘Scottish extravaganza’ in the opening ceremony.

Over 400 performers participated in the pre-match ceremony which saw pipe bands, Clansmen, musicians and dancers. A specially constructed stage in the shape of the Champions League football opened to release thousands of balloons before housing a stadium shaking performance from The Proclaimers. A finale pyrotechnic display from French company Groupe F was the climax to the biggest club football game staged in Scotland.
