Unique was invited by UEFA and the SFA to produce the pre-match entertainment and winners’ trophy presentation at the 2002 UEFA Champions League Final held at Hampden Park, Glasgow on 15 May. This was the final match of the 2001-2002 UEFA Champions League with a capacity crowd and broadcast to a worldwide TV audience of 350 million, the biggest audience ever to watch pictures broadcast from any event in Scotland.
Real Madrid and Bayern Leverkusen competed for European football’s biggest trophy, and fans were treated to a pre-match programme with over 400 performers and a uniquely Scottish opening ceremony.

Afterwards, UEFA Director and TEAM their in-house event production company agreed that with all the constraints, we had achieved something remarkable. |
