| Edinburgh International Film Festival approached Unique Events to produce an outdoor cinema event in Edinburgh city centre as part of their programme in August (now in June). The event was based on an open-air cinema we created in the courtyard of Edinburgh’s City Chambers in 2002 as part of an experiment to demonstrate the potential of a traffic free Royal Mile. |
We have produced EIFF’s Film Festival Under The Stars in the precinct adjacent to the National Galleries of Scotland since 2005. This year we moved the location to include the event as part of the pilot programme of summer events in the Grassmarket, funded by the City of Edinburgh Council and Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh & Lothians. |
