Turnberry Centenary Concerts In 2006, Unique organised a series of popular and classical concerts in the grounds of Turnberry, Scotland’s national golf resort hotel, to celebrate their 100th anniversary.  Working with the Weston Hotel group and sponsors Glenmorangie, this high profile corporate event with guests from the world of sports, arts, television and entertainment included concerts by Jools Holland, Katherine Jenkins and Scottish Opera and a stellar line up of Scottish Artists working with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO).  Launch of Lomond Shores: the National Park Gateway Unique was selected to create and produce a major event at Lomond Shores near Balloch to mark the opening of “the gateway” to the recent constituted Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park in 2003. In the beautiful setting on the banks of Loch Lomond, Unique programmed a night of unforgettable entertainment from international street theatre companies with a site specific finale devised in collaboration with Groupe F, the world’s foremost pyrotechnic company. Harvey Nichols, Edinburgh Opening Party and Fashion Shows In 2002, to celebrate the opening of their first Scottish store, Harvey Nichols, the prestigious retailer, approached Unique to create an Opening Party that highlighted their preeminence in the world of fashion, beauty and food. Officially opened by Ewan McGregor, invited guests were entertained in what was regarded as a milestone in the development of the retail sector in both Edinburgh and Scotland. Unique also produced the Edinburgh store’s first fashion shows helping to bring style to the streets of Scotland’s capital with catwalk shows and new season parties.
